Play along with the Seven Nation Army backing track below. On the Youtube video you can change the playback speed by clicking the settings wheel – I suggest trying 0.75 and then trying faster speeds.

• Try using notes from just 1 string to begin with, then from 2 strings and then from 3 strings etc.
• Try clapping/tapping a rhythm – such as the ‘Seven nation army rhythm’ (🎵 Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum 🎵) and then play that rhythm using different notes from the pentatonic scale.
